A Windmill? In Ireland? Yes, the Tacumshane Windmill was first erected in 1846 and in daily use until 1936. It is one of the last intact windmills in Ireland. Today it is privately owned, but can be visited. The Tacumshane area is also the birth place of the founder of the American Navy, Commodore John Barry born in 1745.
