Joan Taylor Irish American Artist of Irish Art

For over 35 years Irish American artist Joan Taylor has worked at perfecting her talent in Irish art. Joan first worked with charcoal and then added acrylic. Joan began working in oils under the direction of artist Peter Keliher. In 1988 she began to study watercolor painting under Shirley Hathaway and continued her studies over 10 years.

Joan is in her third year presidency of the Lakeside Palette Club in Southeast Michigan. Prior to her presidency she was 1st Vice President of programming for the club. She is a member of the Warren Tri-Couty Art Association as well as holding memberships in the Grosse Pointe Art Association and the Detroit Society of Women Painters and Sculptors.

Her beautiful artwork has won awards from the Warren Tri-County Art Association, the Lakeside Palette Club, the Mt. Clemens,(Michigan) Art Center, The Prestique Show at Warren (Michigan) City Hall and the 2004 Michigan State Fair. Her art has been singled out for exclusive showings at the Warren City Hall.

Each of these wonderful prints comes in an 11″ x 14″ fullframe (print is 8″ x 10″) with double bevel mats, solid cherry frame with designer finish molding. Each frame has a deluxe 2 way velour door back and factory installed hinged hangers.
