Situated half way between Killorglin and Glenbeigh on the main Ring of Kerry route you’ll find a place to step back in time. Recapture the early 18th century where peat, or turf as it is usually called in Ireland, is harvested from bogs. You’ll see a village consisting of 6 dwellings delightfully restored and neatly laid out. The Bog Village aims to preserve the past for future generations.
